Arrival

Today is 30 January, 2005. A quiet, cold Sunday. It is also my third full day of living in Seoul, South Korea.

I arrived late (or what seemed like late, as it was only 8pm) on Thursday night. By the time I arrived at the hotel I was exhausted, but enough adrenaline was pumping through my body to keep me awake until around midnight. As soon as I lay down though...

...my alarm clock jarred me awake with two women talking to each other in Korean. By the sound of it, it was a standard morning show, but that's just a guess.

I dragged myself out of bed to meet a co-worker and start the process of finding a place to live.
